Image of Alta Vista taken from the roof top of a building. I used a polarizing filter and to my surprise when I processed the HDR image the sky that wasn't covered by clouds was a very very dark blue
Yes, but the effect was magnified by the HDR processing and the result was so deep that I had to tone it down or it looked almost black Thanks for visiting and the comment, I appreciate it
I can imagine it HDRs usually make the clouds look darker and more stormy it's the main problem with them and the greatest advantage in the same moment. you have to be careful, because easily you can get very unnatural effect. but, some like it in HRDs
You really master the secrets of HDR well it seems. The level of detail is impressive and the contrast levels of the buildings are spot on The sky and the clouds are a couple of notches too dark and dramatic to my liking though, as it currently attracts too much attention in the composition
Thank you very much for your technical comment, I truly appreciate it I think you are right about the clouds, I just couldn't help myself, I usually start with the buildings or foreground and then when I got to the sky, got carried away when I saw how dramatic it looked and forgot the rest of the composition I will try and drop a couple of notches and see how that looks.
wow very amazing clouds
