Dawn breaks over an open field at Llovizna Park, the great rocks in the foreground really help to add interest and depth to the composition.
I wanted to retake the dawn image I captured a while back (
[link]) with diferent tones in the sky, using landscape instead of portrait orientation, and of course I wanted to do it using the new gear. When I took the first image I was using the Pentax DA 18-55 mm kit lens, don't get me wrong, as far as kits go, it really has great quality, but I wanted to take the shot with the Sigma EX 10-20mm. I also used a 2 stop grad ND filter which I didn't have when I shot the first one.
Overall I am very pleased with the retake, the light beams are spectacular and great tones, I did however miss the great textured clouds of the first take.

I'd love to read your comments about which you like better and if possible why.
