This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Question about using the flash- I might be taking pictures soon at an outdoor event at night, there are no walls or ceilings whatsoever to bounce light/flash off, do you have any suggestions for using the external flash to my advantage without having blown out objects?! I am getting myself a sto-fen or whatever it's called, and a small diffuser, but I'm not really sure if they make a difference outdoors...
A sto-fen will make a difference for sure! It will make your flash light less harsh and will create less shadows. With a sto-fen on your flash, you can angle it upwards a little bit, not so much for bouncing it off of anything but rather to light the subject with the softest, most diffused light your diffuser is sending towards the edges. Make sure you take a few test shots and keep compensating the flash output power (depending on the distance from you to the subject), always look at your histogram, or have the highlight clip warning on (the blinkies). Use rear curtain flash to add movement and a dynamic look while retaining ambient light (this is great for dancing, as you will have motion blur, but the flash will also "freeze" the people, giving the impression of movement while retaining the details).

Hi there! Thanks again for your priceless feedback! I really, really appreciate it! I'm slowly experimenting, and I'm trying to make the shots and the colors seem as natural as possible somehow... I should be getting the sto-fen in the next couple of days hopefully, quite excited about that!
Question about the histogram, that's one thing I'm rather ignorant about, are there any tutorials on how to read it properly and understand it? And to ultimately use it to improve one's photography? Don't know what that highlight clip warning either , I feel like a total n00b now!!!!
One more thing, rear curtain flash would be? *clueless*
Thanks in advance man, I'm learning quite a lot off you!!
